Lymes Disease
Once infected with Lymes Disease, you have the disease for life. Borrelia burgdorferi is found in the digestive track of the tick, it takes 24 - 48 hours once the tick has bitten the dog for Borrelia burgdorferi to be injected into the dog. The organism tracks through the connective tissue to the nearest joint where it resides for life. Full Story >
Blood test for your pet
In addition to your pet's annual physical exam and vaccinations, KPVH recommends Blood tests (CBC, Chemistry, Electrolytes, T4) and an Electrocardiogram (ECG) on all pets over 4 years of age. These tests give us a baseline of what is normal for your pet. These tests should be repeated once a year.
Laser Declaw
KPVH now offers a laser declaw for cats. This procedure is much less painful than other procedures and there is a faster recovery time. For more information, please ask one of our knowledgeable vets.

NEW!
Microchip
KPVH now offers Microchip for your pets. The tiny chip is placed between the sholder blades of your pet. In the event your pet is lost, the nearest animal shelter or veterinary hospital can scan your pet and retrieve your contact information.
